We are considering two sidewalk options on Ewen Drive and Augusta Lane to connect 185th Avenue with the Augusta Lane Pedestrian Bridge.

  • North Option: Build sidewalk on the north side of Ewen Drive and Augusta Lane
  • South Option: Build sidewalk on the south side of Ewen Drive and Augusta Lane

Augusta Lane has no sidewalk and the sidewalks on Ewen Drive do not connect to Augusta Lane. This project is part of an effort to create safe pedestrian routes to nearby schools and parks.

The project is expected to cost $981,000. It is funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD). It was selected for funding based on a requests from community members, public input and selection by the Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC).

Since 2011, 74 URMD Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects totaling over $39 million have been funded. The public can submit Pedestrian and Biking Improvement proposals. Eligible proposals are added to the Pedestrian and Biking Improvements Candidate List.
